Announcement is made of the engagement of Ashley Crile of Washington and Travis Ward of Avella.
The future bride's mother is Lisa Crile of Washington. Her grandparents are Jack and Clarice Killen of Washington.
Parents of the future groom are Donald and Denise Ward of Avella. His grandparents are Robert and Hazel Ritter of Eighty Four and the late Harold and Katherine Ward.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2007 graduate of Waynesburg University. She is a teacher at Burgettstown Middle School.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2007 graduate of Waynesburg University. He is employed by Chapman Corp.
Wedding plans are being made for July 17, 2010.
