Steelers kicker Jeff Reed's incident with the police cannot be ignored. Being a Steeler, place kicker or fundraiser has nothing to do with abiding the police unless Reed or Spaeth were having their life or limb placed in jeopardy by the police.

Reed's attitude, lack of compliance and disrespect have been seen and heard by many people, young and old, who do not respect the police and their positions already in our world. My instinct tells me the NFL and the diplomat do not want or like this negative publicity.
