Avella gets water after 17,000 years
Reporter because your paper may have just stumbled on the answer to the mystery of the Meadowcroft Rockshelter. Although the site has been intermittently occupied for more than 17,000 years, despite its proximity to trade routes, it has never been developed. Pennsylvania American Water Co.'s decision to extend water to Avella and the Meadowcroft site may have been the missing link.
This leads me to believe that there is still hope for the residents of Robinson Township that they may live to see some type of infrastructure, be it water or sewerage, brought to their dwellings. Although I doubt that it will happen in this millennium, as some voters seem to keep putting the same Neanderthals in charge. The rest of us can only hope for a roof collapse.
