Don't vote for more of same
Ullom voted for a multimillion-dollar uptown project (now a bust) without even knowing what a bond rating meant. A bond rating shows the city's ability to pay bondholders interest payments; it shows the financial health of the city.
She voted for the original contract giving firemen a pension after just 20 years of service. She voted to raise our taxes and solid waste fees, driving working persons and seniors out of town.
Is Ullom obsessed with attacking council members? She filed police reports against council members she doesn't like. She launches frivolous state police investigations against council members instead of going after serious crimes like shootings in neighborhoods.

I don't believe for one minute that you know anything about bond ratings. Who wrote your letter for you?

Ms. McClenathan needs to wake up. I received a letter in the Mail on Friday and found out what is really happening in our city. By the way Mrs. Ullom did file 1 police report. The others were filed by others at city hall. Also the letter states that the city controller initiated the State Police investigation not Mrs. Ullom. I suggest she request a copy of the letter and she will wake up when she reads it.People should get their facts straight before they write about what they think they know.
Changes Needed : 11/1/2009
Louise is correct in her editorial. I have attended council meetings were Ullom’s contribution was consistently fighting with other council members. We need people with new ideas and plans to bring the city back to stability back again.
Why didn't you run for council? : 11/2/2009
We have a police to go after shootings in the neighborhood. That is not Mrs. Ullom's job. Why didn't you run for council against Mrs. Ullom if you don't think she is doing a good job?
What did she do? : 11/2/2009
What did you want her to do??? Or, what did you ask for that you didn't get???? Sounds like a disgruntled person to me.

Louise McClenathan and Jim D'Alessandro have the same opinion. No surprise there. Of course, I don't recall ever seeing either name on a ballot. Sad, too, cause they have all the answers.
