Man jailed in connection with home invasion
Bobby Leon Cook, 21, of 1090 Michigan Ave., and another man allegedly forced their way into the home of Deloris Davis and Renee Edmonds at 601 Broad St. on Aug. 13, 2008.
The men reportedly knocked on the door and asked to use the bathroom. When Davis refused their request, they pushed past her and entered the home.
Cook reportedly demanded money from Edmonds while the other man pointed a handgun at her. Police said Cook yelled at the gunman, "Shoot her. Kill her," police said.
