West Pike Run convenience store robbed

State police are searching for a man who robbed Chuck's BP, 1047 Scenic Drive, Coal Center, at knifepoint Tuesday evening.

The man wearing a blue mask entered the West Pike Run convenience store at 5:35 p.m. and threatened the clerk with a knife. He took money from the register and fled south on Scenic Drive toward Centerville in a small, dark-colored pickup truck.

The suspect is white, 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Belle Vernon at 724-929-6262.
