Palin plans to sign 1,000 books at South Strabane's Sam's Club
In August 2008, Palin made a campaign stop at Consol Energy Park presenting herself as a vice-presidential candidate.
This time she is hawking her new book "Going Rogue."
Palin will be at Sam's Club in the Trinity Point shopping center 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of her nationwide book signing tour.

On Aug. 30, the day after Republican presidential nominee John McCain announced Palin as his running mate, nearly 10,000 people were chanting her name before she arrived at the field.
Reed admitted the discounting club had beefed up security for Palin, though she noted most of the authors who do book signings at Sam's travel with their own security.
South Strabane Township police Chief Don Zofchak said four of his officers are being hired by Sam's Club to provide additional safety.
There will be an area reserved outside the store for the media but it will be up to Palin to decide whether or not she wishes to answer questions. No member of the media will be allowed inside the building.
The tour began Nov. 11 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and scheduled appearances continue through December. Trinity Point's Sam's Club is only the second such club where Palin will be signing books which will be offered at a discount.
Zofchak said because the business is located on private property and Palin is no longer running for office, his department will be focused on traffic control that day.

why is it that the elite on both sides hate her so bad & only focus on drama stuff that most avg. people don't care about? It's because they fear the status quo elite group getting rocked from power & people actually taking their nation back. the famous line of thomas jefferson makes more sense as time goes along: "the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time withe blood of tyrants." the statist progressive lib. elites fear her & the common avg. people & are scared to lose power to those they actually represent "we the people"

The change is working quite well.-thank you. Just heard that GM is going to start paying back the bailout way before they were expected to. Health care is on the way... The WORLD is starting to like us again and Michelle's fashions are to die for. Please tell Governor Palin that Rush Limbaugh would be the perfect running mate.

A great American that is one of us. She has the same problems in her family that many of us have faced or will probably face in the future. She handled her problems with dignity. Also, I believe that woman as a whole dislike each other. They are extremely jealous of a very pretty woman. The ones doing the negative commenting here are the ones that look like the leftovers from the Adams Familty TV Series. Oh, Sarah ran a State as a successful Governor. She wasn't a community organizer for Acorn and other thugs; nor was she a Senator who held office for a very short time; was extremely unsure of herself and never got anything done for her constituents.

So one company out of HOW MANY decides to pay back the bailout..while others file bankruptcy YET AGAIN. Try asking Canada and other countries how their HEALTH CARE is working out. And WHO CARES about Michelles Fashions....Thats the problem...your only concern is about fashion..nothing else.. You'll love Socialism..Now there's a change for you..and it's not too far away...Hopefully your health will take care of itself while youre waiting months for a doctors appointment..just to be told ..sorry..we aren't allowed to cover that...its not in the Federal Guidelines...I hope you get your fill of change..JERK!!!

I believe one of the things that makes her a potentially great American is that she a future political leader that believes that big government has no business trying to control every aspect of people's lives. She believes that if government would get out of the way, the American people could do what they have always done. That is taking control and getting us out of this man made recession. The American people are movers and shakers and do not need politicians getting in the way. Of course, theirs always the other group of Americans who fear that if they don't let the government do what they want to do, they might lose their welfare checks.

Oh yeah wait in know he was voting present on every important issue put before him while in congress. Sarah Palin has more excutive experence than the current president. Because she is an average American who stands for freedom of speech, the right to life, freedom to keep and bare arms and she is not beholded to either of the two political parties. it's amazing that those can be so hateful of another. put yourself in her shoes, would u want or would u care that others put down, slander, poke, prode, & nit pick you, your family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances/colleagues or anyone/everyone associated with you? Most of you wouldn't, yet don't have the thick skin to be resillient like her & get past that to continue in the public eye. the reason as I said above that so many dislike her is due in fact that they fear being rocked from power by her & the common, avg. citizen, or "we the people" that they represent. They can't stand that she tries to be different & stand apart, rather than go lock-step with what they want (both right & left or dem. & repub.). start using your critical thinking people, quit letting the media do it for you. quit being a dumb sheep & just following. question why of your leaders...that's how a free democratic republic & checks & balances of power work people! You know, I have been sitting here all day reading the comments on Sarah's book signing article. I must tell you right now that I'm a conservative for life. But as I'm reading these comments I have paid particular attention to the time frames and I'm afraid that I see that most of the comments made earlier in the day have been against Sarah Palin and later in the day for Sarah Palin. I guess that's the one big difference between the two parties. Some of us work for a living and some just take a handout. ff

Palin does scare me I will say that right away. She scares me because she is a jingoistic idiot with a large following. Few things are more dangerous than that. If you want to vote out everyone in Washington, I'm fine with that. I just hope you replace them with intelligent people (something Palin would not qualify as). Before you get too mad at bailouts realize that both REGAN and BUSH had bailouts. Palin is dangerous because her rhetoric suggests than anyone who disagrees with her cannot be God loving, or a Great American, or even a decent person. Attacking the integrity of your opposition just b/c they disagree with you is not patriotic or beneficial for this country.

Having become an Independet due to my disenchantment with both parties "same old, same old", I find it amusing that those who hurl personal attacks against this woman clearly have nothing based on fact, only personal opinion of what they've seen or heard through the media. Accusations of "She's stupid" or "She's unqualified" from either Democrat or Republican supporters only shows that they can't find anything factual to truly damge her public image. However, the accusation of "dangerous" is obviously very true. Dangerous to the extreme left, Republicrats and "good old boy" Republicans. If she decides to run as a candidate in the next election and continues to cause this much controversy among the extremists I will vote for her without hesitation. If not, I can at least sit back in the interim and get a good laugh from all the hypocrites raising their blood pressure over a former Alaskan governor and her sophomore effort at making a name for herself.

People are afraid of Palin but we need someone who is down to earth and "real". This economy is changing, FOR THE WORSE! Bailouts did NOT work. Unified Healthcare will NOT work. Our taxes will double to provide healthcare to those who refuse to get jobs when we bust our butts to pay for it. Obama is celebrity NOT a president. Change is all we will have left in our pockets by the time he is out of the whitehouse. He doesn't even stand for American's His background is Muslim and he may not even be a legal born citizen here. I don't care if people think Sarah Palin is not well spoken or redneck or whatever. This country needs someone who is down to earth and wont bailout big corporations when they fail. This country need someone who will let the corporations fall and let small business consume their losses.. That is growth! That is good business. That would make a good economy. That would provide new jobs.

I care not to ask Canada or “other countries about their health care because I work in health care and I KNOW what is going on. The fact that GM is paying back 1.2 billion dollars in December and then 1 billion in quarterly increments until the their taxpayer loan is paid off is change indeed! When the last administration started the bail out process, they turned their heads while executive squandered the money in our face. The news for GM last month was good and the news for the taxpayers getting paid back billions very soon under this administration is also good . To Not a Republican… the world may be laughing but it is laughing at your post. You base nothing on fact… just figments of your own imagination. Polls taken have proven that my president is very well liked and admired around the world. You may not like it but it is a fact. And apparently the two of you haven’t taken the time to visit The prestigious Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.. Where an entire section houses a display of former first ladies and the fashions they wore at their husband’s inaugurations. Of course you wouldn’t know that. Why am I not surprised.
