Public helps Monongahela police identify robbery suspect
Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Joseph William Keillor, 23, who is believed to be from the Bethel Park area.
Monongahela Police Chief Brian Tempest said Wednesday his department distributed information and a surveillance photo of the robber to the media and got an immediate response.
“Our phone started ringing off the hook,” Tempest said. “I had one person who said, ‘I’m not 100 percent sure, I’m 110 percent sure i know who that person is.'”

A man armed with a handgun entered the store just after 8 p.m. Sunday and took $450. He got into a green sedan that headed toward South Park on Route 88.
“I’d like to thank the news media and the public for their help in filing these charges,” said Tempest. “Hopefully can help us pick him up.”
