Local woman killed in accident

Rebecca Lee Lindsay, 31, of Nemacolin, was killed in a one-vehicle accident late Wednesday night on Route 21 in Monongahela Township, Greene County.
State police said Lindsay's vehicle was traveling east through a construction zone about one mile east of Route 88. The vehicle drifted into a closed lane and struck two construction barrels and then traveled into the open lane, striking a concrete barrier. The vehicle then went airborne and traveled about 35 feet. Lindsay was ejected during the crash. She was taken by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., where she died.
