East Bethlehem Township police arrested a nude man late Wednesday on charges he assaulted a woman in his apartment.

Timothy Bain, 49, of Vestaburg, is facing charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct over the police call about 9:30 p.m., court records show.

A woman in pain and with blood on her lips and clothing answered the door to Bain’s 402 Second St., residence when police arrived.

Bain then appeared without any clothes and knocked her to the floor, police stated in the criminal complaint.
