Two charged: Scott Maga, 42, and Paula Clark, 39, both of Canonsburg, will be charged with theft and criminal mischief for allegedly damaging their former apartment at 310 W. College St., Canonsburg police said Friday. They allegedly plugged the drains and turned on the water. The water went down to the apartments below. The two also allegedly stole a washer and dryer from the apartment that belonged to the landlord.
Windows broken: Justin Holliday of 536 Duquesne Ave. told Canonsburg police Friday that the windshield and driver's side window of his vehicle was broken by vandals.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP
Hits parked vehicle: Josh Bowland, 21, of Avella, was driving in front of 5 Cross Creek Road, Independence, early Friday when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, state police said. His vehicle went off the road and hit a parked vehicle. There was no indication as to whether he was injured.
NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
Man arrested: Justin Craigo, 28, of Coshocton, Ohio, was arrested Thursday night after creating a disturbance at Ramada Inn, West Chestnut Street.
North Franklin police were called about 11:40 p.m. for a report of several people causing a disturbance inside the bar. The staff asked police to remove the group. Craigo told police he was not leaving until he finished his beer. The beer was removed and he was told to leave.
Once he was in the lobby, he started yelling obscenities at police. As Officer Barry Graham was leaving the bar, Craigo reportedly swung the door at the officer, knocking him backward.
Craigo was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $2,500 bond.
Theft charge: Carrie Ann Rush, 40, of 1520 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by North Franklin police with theft by deception. She is accused of using a credit card owned by Robert Froats of Washington to rent two rooms at Days Inn, 1370 W. Chestnut St. on Dec. 30, at a cost of $104.
Rush is charged with access device fraud and theft by deception. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Door kicked: Seleena Smith of 4 Grove St. told North Franklin police Thursday that a burglar kicked open the basement door of her home. Nothing appeared to be missing.
NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP
Tools stolen: James Laslovic of Harmony told North Strabane police Thursday that two screw guns, two hammers, a router and two, 20-foot power cords were stolen from a construction site at 200 Stonegate Drive.
Snow blowers stolen: The operators of Four Seasons Landscaping, 30 Cessna Lane, Eighty Four, told North Strabane police Thursday that five snow blowers were stolen from a box trailer parked on Stonegate Drive. The locks on the trailer were cut.
PETERS TOWNSHIP
Marijuana charges: Benjamin Nylund will be charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop Thursday, township police said.
Nylund, 24, of 31 Greenwald Drive, Bethel Park, was stopped on Bebout Road. Police said a zippered case with suspected marijuana, rolling papers and a glass smoking pipe was found.
UNIONTOWN
Credit cards stolen: Dana Michael DeAngelo of West Brownsville told state police in Uniontown that his car was broken into just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at Uniontown Mall. The thief stole several credit and debit cards. The cards were used or attempts made at Kmart, Sears, Sheetz and First Federal of Greene County Bank's automated teller machine.
The thief is white, in his early 20s, medium build, unshaven and wearing gray sweatpants and gray hooded sweat shirt. Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.
WASHINGTON
Theft charge: Ronald McCartney III, 43, of 40 Hayes Ave., Washington, was arraigned Friday on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of stealing an iPod from Stephanie Chadwick, 217 E. Maiden St.
He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released after posting $200 of a $2,000 percentage bond.
Faces more charges: Anthony Scicchitano, 39, of Canton Township, was charged Friday with aggravated indecent assault for allegedly fondling a 15-year-old girl in 2008 and 2009 at a home in Washington. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and returned to Washington County Jail on an additional $10,000 bond. He was charged with rape on Thursday.
