A Monessen woman is among the 30 soldiers injured in the deadly shooting rampage Thursday at Fort Hood, Texas.

Brandy Mason, a 1995 graduate of Monessen High School, is expected to make a full recovery after being shot in the upper thigh during the massacre that left 13 people dead, the high school principal confirmed Friday.

"She's a very good person," Monessen High School Principal Randall Marino said.

He said Mason is a daughter of Sabrina Heath of Monessen, and has a daughter who is a senior at the high school, Marino said.
