Numerous people appeared recently before Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky on criminal charges. Appearing were:

Bryan D. Parks, 50, of Portage, Ind.; first offense of driving under the influence of alcohol; charged July 15 after a traffic stop in South Strabane Township with a 0.191 percent blood-alcohol content; sentence - 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Bryan Stotka, 29, of 309 Shady Ave., Charleroi; reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct; charged Sept. 13 with pointing a handgun at Kevin Armstrong on Shady Avenue, Charleroi, after an argument; sentence - 18 months of probation.

Robert P. Mahoney, 24, of 320 Dunbar Drive, Pittsburgh; second offense of DUI, driving under suspension; charged July 13 following three-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Canton Townsip with a BAC of 0.219 percent; sentence - 90 days to 18 months in jail on work release, $1,700 in fines and drug and alcohol evaluation.

David J. Page, 29, of 1741 Patrick Place, South Park; second offense of DUI; charged June 23 after punching his wife while driving and then stopping in the middle of Route 18 in Smith Township; sentence - 30 days to 6 months in jail on work release; $750 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Theresa Ann Molesky, 48, of 110 Main St., Belle Vernon, second offense of DUI; charged June 13 after a traffic stop in Long Branch with 0.125 BAC; sentence - 6 days to 6 months in jail on weekends, $300 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation

Robert D. Haupt, 46, of 38 S. Euclid St. Belle Vernon; second offense of DUI, driving under suspension, DUI-related; charged June 10 after traffic stop in South Strabane Township with a 0.242 percent BAC; sentence - 6 to 23 months in jail on work release; $2,500 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Richard C. Crothers, 41, of 60 Carl Ave., Eighty Four; second offense of DUI; charged May 21 after a traffic stop in North Strabane Township with a 0.218 percent BAC; sentence - 90 days to 18 months in jail on work release, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Justin W. Adams, 32, of 13 Lynnview Drive, McDonald; second offense of DUI; charged April 17 after a traffic stop in Cecil Township with a 0.195 percent BAC; sentence - 90 days to 18 months in jail on work release, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Vanessa R. Ferguson, 43, of 114 First St., Bentleyville; second offfense of DUI, operation without ignition interlock; charged Feb. 9 following a crash on Wilson Road, Bentleyville, with a 0.264 percent BAC; sentence - 6 to 23 months in jail on work release; $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evalution.

Robert A. DeJeet Jr., 32, of 194 Morton St., New Eagle; second offense of DUI; charged April 26 after a crash in Monongahela with a 0.214 percent BAC; sentence - 90 days to 18 months in jail on work release, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Darryl J. Carson, 19, of 10 Blythe Road, Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 2 in Fallowfield Township after a traffic stop with a bong in his possession; placed on probation without verdict for 12 months, ordered to obtain General Education Development diploma and have drug and alcohol evaluation.

Shayne K. Barnes, 19, of 700 Donnan Ave., Washington; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged June 1 following a traffic stop in Washington when marijuana was found in the vehicle; placed on probation without verdict for 30 days, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Steven Carlisle, 29, of 306 Park Ave., North Franklin; possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 25 after marijuana plants were found growing at his residence and a scale was found; placed on probation without verdict for 12 months, 25 hours of community service, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Zachary E. Musiol, 19, of Severna Park, Md.; possession of marijuana, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 27 following a traffic stop in McDonald when marijuana and pipe were found in vehicle; placed on probation without verdict for 12 months, 25 hours of community service, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Frank Wright, 72, of 848 Donner Ave., Monessen; simple assault, reckless endangerment; charged Sept. 10 with firing a gun into the air and pointing it at two people during an argument in Charleroi; sentence - 23 months of probation, forfeit firearms license, no contact with victims.

Ross T. Oscarson, 22, of 208 S. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg; possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged July 18 after deputies serving an arrest warrant at his home found marijauna and paraphernalia; placed on probation without verdict for 12 months, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Samantha Jo Jaggie, 20, of 307 North St., McDonald; harassment; charged Aug. 9 with sending threatening text messages to Steven Foye; sentence - 12 months of probation, anger management classes, 25 hours of community service.

Steven L. Foye Jr., 22, of 200 Center Ave., McDonald; harassment; charged Aug. 9 with sending threatening text messages to Samantha Jaggie; sentence - 12 months of probation, anger management classes, 50 hours of community service.

Andrew McElroy, 21, of 425 Fayette St., Washington; simple assault; charged Aug. 9 with assaulting Clinton Rush Sr. and Clinton Rush Jr. at their home; sentence - 12 months of probation, mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations, restitution, no contact with victims.

Robin L. Ross, 29, of 995 Arch St., Washington; access device fraud; charged with using a debit card belonging to Victoria Daniels in July to make $193 in purchases; sentence - 18 months of probation, drug and alcohol evaluation, restitution.

Clark C. Campbell, 26, of 106 Richland Ave., Canonsburg; possessing an instrument of crime; charged Oct. 7 with trying to pry open a garage door at the Tiny Store in Canonsburg; sentence - 23 months on IPP with the first 3 months on intensive supervision, restitution.

Eric McCartney, 22, of 601 Broad St., Washington; simple assault; charged wtih assaulting Clyde Mull Jr. on May 15 in a Canton Township parking lot; sentence - 23 months of IPP with the first 6 months on intensive supervision, anger management classes, drug and alcohol evaluation, restitution, no contact with victim.

James R. Barlow Sr., 43, of 1835 N. Main St., South Strabane; simple assault; charged Oct. 4 with assaulting Kimberly Barlow; sentence - 18 months of probation, anger management and parenting classes, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Joseph L. Gordon, 47, 110 S. McDonald St., McDonald; possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged July 17 after a probation sweep found a pipe and marijauana in his possession; placed on probation without verdict for 12 months, drug and alcohol evaluation.

Age of our criminals : 11/22/2009
It is sad to see that most of the criminality is between the ages of 20 to 28, this is what our country has to offer us for the future. A bunch of criminals to hopefully move us forward. NOT!!

Whats really sad is that mostly everyone just got probation and a couple hundred in fines! Thats it?? WOW What is our legal system coming to! This is Why drug addicts are still drug addicts and thiefs are still steeling and very violent people are still very violent! Come on!
