Henley - Stavovy

The beach in Nags Head, N.C., was the site for the wedding of Andrea Claire Stavovy and Jerry Wayne Henley Jr., who were married May 23, 2009. The Rev. John Hoffman officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, John and Marcia Stavovy of Washington. Her grandparents are the late John Sr. and Gertrude Stavovy and the late Denton and Gloria Knestrick.

Parents of the bridegroom are Jerry Henley Sr. of Roanoke, Va., and Sara Cranston of Cranberry Township. His grandmother is Dorothy Mitchell of Cranberry Township.

Matron of honor was Hilary Stavovy of Wilmington, N.C., sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Adrienne Shettler of Washington. Bridesmaids were Cassandra Behrens of Washington, cousin of the bride; Erin Miles of Washington, Emily Pitzer of Washington, Natalie Sten of Pittsburgh, Tabatha Kromer of Rocky Mount, Va., sister of the groom; and Amy Davis of Cranberry Township, sister of the groom. The groom's niece, Katie Davis was flower girl.

Best men were Sean Corbett of Charleston, S.C., and Jim Wiseman of Wilmington. Groomsmen were Clayton Wilson and Chad Nicoll, both of Wilmington; Pal Stavovy of Charleston, brother of the bride; Michell Stavovy of Washington, brother of the bride; Derick Kromer of Rocky Mount, the groom's nephew; and Brian Davis of Cranberry Township, brother-in-law of the groom. Junior groomsman was Andrew Davis of Cranberry Township, the groom's nephew. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Thomas Deeley.

A reception was held at Nags Head Golf Links.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2005 graduate of Robert Morris University. She is a designer for Cornerstown Residential Design in Wilmington.

Her husband is a 1997 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He joined the U.S. Army in 2005 and was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with a Ranger battalion in 2006. He is serving with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia and make their home in Wilmington.
