The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Arthur and Sharon Battistone of Washington. Her grandparents are Herbert and Claretta Johnson and Lydia Battistone, all of Washington, and the late Arthur Battistone.
Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Ruth Nelson of Warren. His grandparents are Irving and Gloria Nelson of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late David and Carolyn Anderson.
Maid of honor was Jaime Swanson of Denver, Colo. Bridesmaids were Bethany Adams, Angela Holdsworth, Stefanie Rossi, Alyssa Walkowski, Carrie Wietholter and Allison Yoder.
Groomsmen were Jeffrey Nelson and Zachary Nelson, brothers of the groom, and Travis Sharp. Ushers were Jared Battistone and Joshua Battistone, brothers of the bride; James Curren and Michael Meneo. Ring bearers were Seth and Samuel Johnson, nephews of the bride.
Readers were Lorena Surber, aunt of the bride, and Debra Anderson, aunt of the groom. Organist was John Slaney, godfather of the groom, and pianist Zachary Nelson, brother of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of McGuffey High School; Gannon University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology; and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a clinical pharmacist at Canonsburg General Hospital.
Mr. Nelson is a graduate of Warren High School; Gannon University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting; and the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his JD and MBA degrees. He is employed by the law firm of Morgan and Lewis.
The newlyweds make their home in Mt. Lebanon.
