This and that
Here are two links to stories. The first is the Kalamazoo Gazette's game story from last night. The second is from the Columbus Disptach about the future of the Chillicothe Paints. There is really nothing new in the Paints story except two interesting things about finances: the franchise fee a new team in the Frontier League must pay and the Chillicothe's operating budget.

I agree with the article about the Paints and there stadium. We have attended a few games there, and that stadium is a wreck. I must say, though, we were treated very well by the Paints organization and there fans. The stadium is off the beaten path, mostly residential, and the big house is not far away. I hpe they do get a new stadium. Well, maybe not. If they don't, and the team is sold, maybe Mark Mason will return home to manage the Things.
I wonder what the Wild Things operating budget is for 2008?
