Johnson arrested
For the second time in a little more than three years, surprising and disturbing news concerning a local sports figure hits the newspapers today.
By now, many likely know that Joe Johnson, the Avella boys basketball coach until Monday, was arrested on web child-probe charges.

When you do the crime you serve the time. Good to see someone was paying attention in the Rose case. The judge sure wasn't.
Lets hope this dirtbag does not get off like your former co-worker, Rose. No way a, so called, man, should be allowed to be around our kids as a teacher or coach. Those are postions of authority that we teach our kids to look up to and trust.
Lock him up.
