State police charge three in Greene County with animal cruelty

State police charged three Greene County residents Wednesday with animal cruelty after dogs were found in extremely poor condition. David Henry White, 31, Holly Lynn White, 32, and Angel Nicole Jeffries, 22, all face a felony charge of aggravated cruelty to animals. According to the criminal complaint, state police were called to the home of David and Holly White at East View Court, Franklin Township, the morning of Oct. 9. Police said two dogs, Stormy and Zoey, were found inside in extremely poor health, and had no food or water. Waynesburg woman arrested after dead dogs found in home

Waynesburg police charged a woman Thursday after officers found two dead dogs in her home. Jennifer Marie Fisher, 48, faces six felonies of aggravated cruelty to animals, and a dozen misdemeanors of cruelty and neglect of animals. According to the criminal complaint, at about 5 p.m. Wednesday a neighbor in the 300 block of Ross Street called 911 to report that he had not seen Fisher in two or three weeks. Officers knocked on her door and heard what sounded like a distressed dog barking inside. They also detected a strong odor coming from the house. Fatal crash victim identified

A Uniontown woman died following a head-on collision in Fallowfield Township this week. Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco identified Tuesday’s crash victim as 36-year-old Tiffany Rider. Rider was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle headed east on Old 71. The crash occurred at about 8:45 p.m. when a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline. According to Warco, Rider was not wearing a seat belt. According to state police, multiple people were taken by helicopter and ambulance to local hospitals.
