The Round Table, a Canonsburg restaurant and catering service, has opened for business at 800 First St.

The cafe opened in mid-November, serving only lunch, but plans are being made to offer breakfast. The hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and there is seating for 25.

The business is operated by three co-owners, Michelle Houston of Cecil, Josh Horwitz of South Fayette Township and Beth Joseph of Peters Township.

While the business places more emphasis on catering, all of its menu items are made from scratch.

A macaroni-and-cheese sandwich is the featured entree.

Houston and Horwitz previously worked together at Bella Sera, on Morganza Road, where he was executive chef and she was event planner.
