Hobby Lobby confirms it is coming
Hobby Lobby Stores announced Thursday in a news release that it signed a lease for a store in the Old Mill project in South Strabane Township.
Construction has begun on the 55,000-square-foot store on the site of the former Foundry project.
Hobby Lobby, based in Oklahoma City, is a national chain of crafts and home decor stores. It is privately held.
This will be its 10th store in Pennsylvania. It is projected to open this year and provide about 35 to 50 jobs, paying $14 per hour for full time and $9.50 for part-time.
Hobby Lobby has nearly 600 stores nationwide. Its hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday; all are closed on Sunday.
