Anytime Fitness coming to Old Mill in South Strabane
The Old Mill retail project in South Strabane Township will add a fitness club to its lineup of coming attractions.
Anytime Fitness franchisee Jennifer Beiswenger confirmed Wednesday that she has signed a lease for a 5,000-square-foot space at the complex under development along Route 19.
Beiswenger said in a news release that the target date for the club’s grand opening is early fall.
She said the club focuses on helping its members achieve the fitness results they’re seeking.
“We’re small enough that we can provide personalized attention for all of our members. Whether weight-loss is your goal, or increased strength or improved balanced and flexibility – or a combination – we’re committed to helping you achieve those goals.”
Nationwide, the average Anytime Fitness club has about 800 members. The gyms are staffed roughly eight hours a day, but members can access the club whenever they like – even during unstaffed hours – using a computerized key-fob system.
“We make it easy for our members to exercise whenever and however they like,” Beiswenger said. “We’ll have personal trainers available to help you learn how to use all of the equipment and to develop an individualized workout plan, if you like.”
Membership at one Anytime Fitness club gives members access to 2,400 clubs worldwide as well as access to www.AnytimeHealth.com, the most comprehensive online wellness support system available.
The layout of each club is designed for quick and effective exercise. Members will have full use of top-quality equipment and amenities, including free weights, cardio equipment and group fitness classes, as well as “Fitness on Request, a kiosk-based video group fitness program, private bathrooms, changing rooms and showers.

The Old Mill project is being developed by TSG Properties of St. Louis on a 104-acre site.
Over the past six months, TSG has signed Hobby Lobby, a national arts and crafts chain, and Field & Stream, an outdoors store. LongHorn Steakhouse and Buffalo Wild Wings have not signed, but have been approved for liquor license transfers at the site. Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A, which also has not signed a lease, has requested a variance for parking, which will be heard by the township zoning hearing board June 30.
Representatives of TSG Properties could not be reached for comment.
