A Subway restaurant will hold its grand opening in Cecil on Wednesday. The new restaurant is located in Cecil Town Center, 3441 Millers Run Road, next to the new Washington Hospital Outpatient Center.

It will feature Subway’s all-new signature Tuscany décor, large seating capacity and an extensive sandwich, salad and beverage menu.

“We are excited to be able to bring Subway’s delicious, nutritious product to the people of Cecil,” said Jim Gregorakis, co-owner of the new sandwich shop, in a press release.

The Gregorakis family, lifelong residents of Canonsburg, have been actively involved in numerous civic activities. Kathy is a retired Chartiers-Houston educator, Jim is a self-employed financial advisor who is based in Carnegie, and their son John, an experienced Subway employee, will manage the new enterprise.

“Cecil is a fast-growing community and we’re extremely proud and happy to be a part if it.” said Jim Gregorakis.
