Workforce board elects new officers
The Southwest Corner Workforce Development Board elected the following officers at its quarterly meeting Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe:
Mark Giovanelli, owner of Valley National Security, Washington, chairman; John Feraco of Nova Chemical, co-chairman; Terry Wiltrout, Washington Health System, second chairman.
Robbie Matesic, executive director of the Greene County Department of Economic Development was elected secretary; and Linda Andrews of the Washington/Greene County Central Labor Council, treasurer.
The Southwest Corner Workforce Development Board represents employers, educational institutions and training providers, community based organizations, organized labor and government in Washington, Greene and Beaver counties.
