Stantec moving to Southpointe offices
North American design firm Stantec will move to new offices in Southpointe effective Friday. The 56-person office, which is relocating from 95 W. Beau St., to Suite 300, 601 Technology Drive, said its new address will be the new engineering and environmental service hub for the oil and gas industry in the eastern United States.
“Growth and access are the two key reasons for our move,” said Jason Leadingham, Stantec’s U.S. director of pipelines. “As partners with many major companies involved with the Marcellus and Utica plays, we’ve more than doubled our staff over the past two years. Southpointe puts us at the center of activity, poised for further growth to support oil and gas development and other crucial infrastructure for a long time to come.”
Across North America, Stantec has more than 3,600 employees dedicated to the oil and gas industry, providing engineering, procurement, construction management, permitting, survey, and environmental services. Its Washington County office is one of nine in Pennsylvania.
