Hibbett Sports opens at Crown Center
National athletic retailer Hibbett Sports has opened its newest store in Washington Crown Center, North Franklin Township.
The store, which opened Friday, stocks a large selection of athletic footwear, athletic apparel and team athletic equipment. The company said in a press release it will employ eight full and part-time workers.
The new Washington location joins a growing number of Hibbett Sports stores in Pennsylvania, including those in Waynesburg, Shippensburg, State College and Lewisburg.
The Birmingham, Ala., company, which is publicly traded on the NASDAQ exchange, operates more thanr 1,000 premium athletic retail stores in small to mid-sized markets, predominantly in the South, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
