A 79-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott opened recently in The Highlands shopping complex, off Interstate 70 near Triadelphia, W.Va. Matt Young is general manager of the motel at 660 Cabela Drive.
The Northwest Bank branch, which opened for business June 3 in Peters Township, will have a five-week grand opening celebration July 15 through Aug. 19. It is at 3380 Washington Road, near the new Eat’n Park restaurant. The branch replaces one that closed on Old Washington Road, Upper St. Clair.
• Mark Dooley has joined Steel Nation Holdings as executive vice president/chief financial officer. The company is based on Washington Road, South Strabane Township.
• John Hathaway has been named vice pesident of real estate and development with 84 Lumber Co., and will work at headquarters in Eighty Four. He will oversee development strategies, including new market development, new store construction and redevelopment, and expansion in existing markets. “John is filling a critical role for us, as we look toward the development of more than a dozen new stores over the next 18 months in markets like Boston, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Boise,” Maggie Hardy Magerko, owner and president, said in a prepared statement.
• Narayanan Nair has been appointed chief people officer at the Southpointe office of Ness Software Engineering Services. Nair will head global recruitment and human resources functions for Ness, which provides digital transformation and custom software product engineering services,
Spouses Roger and Mollie Hanning of West Alexander are new members of the American Angus Association, according to CEO Allen Moczygemba. American Angus is a national breed organization based in Saint Joseph, Mo. It has more than 25,000 active adult and junior members, and is the world’s largest beef breed association in the world.
