Danos expands presence in Marcellus/Utica area
WHEELING, W.Va. – Oilfield services provider Danos said Monday it is opening a new facility in Martins Ferry, Ohio, just north of Wheeling, W.Va. Located at 305 N. 1st St., the facility borders the Ohio River and includes 2,500 square-feet of office space and 6,000 square-feet of shop space.
Danos, which provides production support, construction, fabrication, coatings and logistics, said in a news release it is consolidating its Southpointe office into the Martins Ferry facility, bringing together a total of 32 field technicians and five office personnel in a single location convenient to customers in Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. The company said it will also maintain its current location in Mansfield to provide production services to the region as well as in-house training for employees and clients.
Along with production services, Danos’ Martins Ferry facility will provide 24/7 call-out services for automation, along with installations, maintenance, gas calibration, control system testing and installation and automation programming services. Its newly patented solar-powered continuous chemical injection system will also be available to customers in the area.
Danos, which is headquartered in Gray, La., said the Martins Ferry location represents the second major expansion of its automation services and is a signal of its commitment to the Utica/Marcellus area. The company plans to add additional services in the future, including construction and coatings.
