Pa. November slots revenue up $2 million
HARRISBURG – Slot machines at Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos produced $181,329,655 in revenue in November, an increase of almost $2 million from the same period of a year ago, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The PGCB said in a news release the latest amount was a 1.1 percent increase when compared to the $179,399,604 in gross terminal revenue produced a year ago.
Tax revenue generated by slots in November was $89,049,643.
At The Meadows Casino in North Strabane Township, slots revenue fell 5.04 percent to $16,076,981. Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino saw a 5.92 percent increase to $20,957,992, while Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin in Farmington fell 2.63 percent to $2,123,505 in November.
The average number of slot machines operating in casinos last month on a daily basis was 25,827, compared to 26,406 in November 2016.
