Pa. slots revenue declines 1.2 pct. in Oct.
HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said Thursday October gross revenue from slot machines at the state’s 12 casinos was $189,527,493, a 1.2 percent decrease when compared to the $191,850,596 in October 2016.
Tax revenue in October was $93,306,020.
PGCB noted October 2016 had an additional Saturday compared to October 2017. It said Saturdays are the largest revenue-producing days.
At The Meadows Casino in North Strabane Township, slots produced revenue of $17,654,738, down 2.05 percent from the $18,023,978 collected in October of a year ago.
Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino saw a 1.74 percent decline, moving from $21,632,866 in October 2016 to $21,257,150 last month.
Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin in Farmington experienced a 13.1 percent jump to $2,603,760 in October from $2,302,235 wagered on its machines in October 2016.
