Rural King plans hiring event at Crown Center

Rural King, a family owned farm and home retail chain, will hold a hiring event from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 7 through Dec. 12 at Washington Crown Center for people to work in its store it will open this winter at the North Franklin Township mall.

Information on job opportunities will be made available in the space adjacent to the Victoria’s Secret store.

 Rural King said in a press release it will be filling a variety of positions throughout the store, so all experience levels are welcome.

The Melvin and Speer families founded Rural King in 1960 with the goal of helping customers with their farm and home needs. In the more than 50 years since it began in Mattoon, Ill., Rural King has grown to serve customers in 12 states and has opened over 100 stores.
