Cal U’s GACO sponsoring 30th Procurement Opportunities Fair
CALIFORNIA – California University of Pennsylvania’s Government Agency Coordination Office, a procurement technical assistance center, will sponsor its 30th Annual Procurement Opportunities Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25. The fair will be held at the DoubleTree hotel on Racetrack Road, North Strabane Township.
Any business interested in selling their products or services to federal, state and local government agencies and prime contractors should attend.
Focused on providing companies with contracting and subcontracting information, the fair will feature 54 booths occupied by government agencies, corporations, regional service organizations and area businesses.
Some of the participants for this year’s fair include: Rand Corp., Cobham Mission Systems, Simplex Grinnell, National Energy Technology Laboratory, Center for Disease Control, Westinghouse Electric Co., Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency and ALCOSAN.
In addition to the networking event this fair provides seminars on cybersecurity requirements for Department of Defense contracts and doing business with Allegheny County will be presented.
Admission for the fair, which includes a buffet lunch, is $35 per attendee if registration is paid by Oct. 11. If paid after Oct. 11, the cost per attendee is $45.
