Leaders of the nonprofit Burgettstown Area Community Development Corporation are excited to have their new office space furnished and operational, thanks to a recent donation from Range Resources.

The Canonsburg-based natural gas company contributed $5,000 to furnish the interior of the Burgettstown Area Community Development Corporation’s (BACDC) newly built office located at 1711 Main St. in Burgettstown.

BACDC President Pamela Church offered her “sincere thanks” to Range Resources for their contribution in a statement released late last week.

The organization previously used $10,000 in grant funding from the Washington Financial Charitable Foundation to acquire the unfurnished building in July 2026.

Previously, the BACDC had to utilize a number of temporary, ad-hoc office spaces across Burgettstown because it did not have a permanent facility of its own.

Church said the new headquarters is anticipated to be fully furnished soon and the organization’s focus will shift to planning the annual Christmas on Main event and launching a replacement initiative for the Hometown Heroes Veterans Banner Program.

“We are excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful for the partnerships that help make them possible,” she said.
