Charles W. Trump Jr., President/CEO of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, was recently elected chair of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers (PACB) during the organization’s 2026 convention.

Trump, who will serve one year as chair, will oversee the operations of PACB’s executive committee and ensure the development and execution of its strategic mission and goals for its members.

“What an honor it is to help represent and promote community banking across our great state of Pennsylvania,” Trump said. “I am humbled at the opportunity to represent First Federal of Greene County, while also looking forward to uniting with other community bankers to further the mission and strengthen the passion for our special industry.”

Joining the Association in 1999, Trump began his career with First Federal as a loan officer in Morgantown, W.Va. He later moved to the Waynesburg main office in 2010 as a vice president in charge of deposit operations, marketing and security. In January 2017, Trump was named Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Association’s Board of Directors before being named CEO two years later. In January 2020, he was appointed to the board and became president in April 2020.

Since Trump became president, the Association expanded its footprint to 11 branches with the opening of additional offices in Bridgeport, W.Va., and Fairchance, Pa., recorded more than $1 billion in assets in 2021 and celebrated its 100th year of service in 2024, all while continuing to uphold the principles of a true community bank.

“Each day, Chuck embodies the values we hold dear at PACB, empowering First Federal of Greene County to positively impact the communities they serve,” said Kevin Shivers, PACB president and CEO. “He has been a stalwart supporter of the power of community banking for many years. I know he will be a great chair and advocate because he understands how vital these banks are to our towns and cities across Pennsylvania.”

A native of Fayette County, Trump graduated from the-then Waynesburg College in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree and in 2006 with an MBA. He is a member of Waynesburg University’s Board of Trustees, a former member and past president of the university’s Alumni Council and a member of the university’s Business School Advisory Board.

In the community, Trump currently serves with Rotary Club of Waynesburg and the Salvation Army of Greene County Advisory Board, as well as the Fairchance Exchange Club and City Mission-Living Stones, Inc., both in Fayette County. He previously served on the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging board, helping to educate seniors in the community about fraud and other financial issues.

Trump and his wife, Shelly, live in Fairchance, and have two daughters.
