Morganza Road project underway

As you travel through our town, you will notice there is a lot going on.
The Morganza and Weavertown road project is moving along well. The contractors seem to be getting a lot done with few traffic delays. We appreciate the cooperation of local drivers during this work. It will definitely be worth it.
Local utility companies are busy repairing and replacing water and gas lines in town. The overhead line companies have been changing some of the telephone poles and power lines. We on council appreciate all of this work being done for our residents.
If you notice a few new poles being put up in town, they are being installed to help Verizon boost cell service in this area.

The Farmers Market on West Pike Street is going well. It’s open every Friday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Stop by for a visit!
Town Park pool is open with a nice new look, and ready for your summer fun.

The Rusty Gold Brewing in our downtown is a positive addition to the business district. We hope for more businesses to follow.
