Tough Guy & Gal Bingo
On April 27, Western Area Career & Technology Center will host a Tough Guy and Gal Bingo at the school – it’s a bingo event designed for contractors, construction workers, oilfield hands and so on, to reintroduce the school to the community. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the ticket price ($25 in advance, $30 at the door) includes a kielbasa and sauerkraut sandwich or barbecue sandwich, rigatoni, dessert and a soft drink. Prizes include tools, equipment and supply house gift cards. A Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle will also take place. All of the proceeds will go to SkillsUSA, a high school organization that promotes the trades through local, state and national competitions, and Continuing Adult Education.
