I made this Banana Chocolate Chip Bread the other day and it was gone so fast that by the time I remembered to take a picture of it, there was one bite left! The bite pictured above.

And now it’s officially gone.

The twist to this bread is one of the best baking shortcuts there is. Only three words: YELLOW CAKE MIX!

Let’s get right to it …

Ingredients

1- 18oz. package yellow cake mix

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1 c. ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the first three ingredients, add bananas and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into two loaf pans. Bake 40-45 minutes.

This bread is so easy to make and delicious. Enjoy!
