WCHP to hold ‘Taste of Washington’
Six local restaurants and three wineries will participate in a “Healthy Taste of Washington County,” the inaugural fundraising event hosted by Washington County Health Partners Inc.
The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. April 19 at 825 S. Main St., Washington. Angelo’s Restaurant, the George Washington Hotel, Krency’s Bakery Inc., Mr. Gyro’s, Palazzo 1837 Ristorante, the Upper Crust, J&D Cellars Winery and Vineyard, Raccoon Creek Winery at Kramer’s Greenhouse and Ripepi Winery and Vineyard will serve up signature specialties, with entertainment provided by “American Idol” contestant Adam Brock. There also will be a silent auction.
Tickets are $50, and all proceeds will benefit community wellness programs, including WCHP’s Walking Washington. To purchase tickets, visit wchpinc.org/taste2013.
