Blough – Stevens
Dara’s Garden in Knoxville, Tenn., was the setting for the wedding of Amanda Stevens and Matthew Blough, who were united in marriage March 23, 2013, with Pastor Jon Teague officiating the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Bill and Ginger Stevens and Kathie and Daniel Hatfield, all of Knoxville. Her grandparents are Bennie and Cherrie Stevens and Charles and Kathryn Short, all of Knoxville.
The bridegroom’s parents are Robert C. and Marianne M. Blough of Houston. His grandparents are Lilyan Blough of Houston, the late Robert G. Blough and the late James and Cynthia McClenathan.
Matron of honor was Ashley Thomas of Chesapeake, Va., sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Amy Stevens of Knoxville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Carroll of Johnson Creek, Wis., and Heather Faddis of Midland, Mich. Flower girl was Hannah Blough, niece of the groom.
Best men for their brother were Robert C. Blough Jr. of Washington and Derek Blough of Dumfries, Va. Ushers were Bryan Burkholder of Parsonsburg, Md., and Dillon Rojas of Gumboro, Del.
A reception was held at the wedding site.
The bride is a graduate of Farragut High School, the University of Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor’s degree, and Wilmington University, where she earned an MBA. She is employed as a personal banker for M&T Bank.
The groom is a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and attended Johns Hopkins University. He serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a technical sergeant in explosive ordnance disposal and is employed by Jacobs Engineering as an explosive test operator leader.
The newlyweds will take a honeymoon trip at a later time and make their home in Baltimore, Md.
