Philips – Thompson
Herbert and Mary Thompson of Waynesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle, to Ross Philips, son of William and Vickie Philips of McMurray.
The future bride’s grandparents are Dorothy Roberts of Washington, the late John Franklin Roberts, Mary Jane Thompson of New Brighton and the late Herbert Thompson.
The future groom’s grandparents are William and Naomi Philips of Venetia and the late Arthur and Edna Hrabchak.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School, a 2006 graduate of Waynesburg University, earning a bachelor’s degree, and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned a master’s degree. She is an assistant vice president/senior marketing associate at Washington Financial Bank.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2007 graduate of Waynesburg University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He is a physical damage appraiser/repair process manager at Opeka Auto Repair.
The couple plan an October 5 wedding.
