School registration
Charleroi Area Elementary Center will hold kindergarten registration from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. May 9 in the Alumni Room. Children do not have to attend. Children must be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2013, to enter kindergarten. Parents or guardians should bring the child’s birth certificate, proof of residency and immunization records. Children eligible for first grade who do not already attend Charleroi Elementary Center also can register on May 9.
