Free Hepatitis C screenings planned
May is Hepatitis Awareness Month, and Giant Eagle Specialty Pharmacy is partnering with the American Liver Foundation to offer a series of free Hepatitis C screenings at four Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle pharmacies from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, April 27 through May 18.
Participating Giant Eagle locations include:
• South Hills Market District, 7000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park;
• Robinson Market District, 100 Settlers Ridge Center Drive;
• Monroeville Giant Eagle, 4010 Monroeville Blvd.;
• Township of Pine, 155 Towne Centre Drive, Wexford.
The screenings will feature the OraQuick HCV Rapid Antibody Test, which will be administered via fingerstick.
