Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, a shelter and sanctuary for aged, abused and homeless animals in Washington, will hold its first Lucky Days of Summer bingo Aug. 24 at Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department social hall in Hickory.

Early bird games start at 5:30 p.m., with regular games at 6 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. Admission includes a complementary beverage and dessert and doggie gift bag. Other hot and cold food items will be available for purchase. There also will be a Chinese auction and other raffles and games of chance.

Tickets can be purchased at Angel Ridge Animal Rescue in Chartiers Township or Woody’s Dog Wash in South Park, or ordered through the mail. Call 724-229-7053 to order tickets or additional information.
