Mexican War Streets houses, gardens on tour

The Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour in Pittsburgh will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15.

The self-guided tour includes 13 homes and four gardens throughout the historic neighborhood on Pittsburgh’s North Side.

Homes represent those that have undergone extensive restorations and works in progress. The tour also will feature a midway of vendors and eateries.

Tour tickets are available in advance for $18 per person, or $20 per person on the day of the tour at the ticket booth on Monterey Street at West North Avenue.
