West Newton to hold community festival

West Newton Community Festival will be held Sept. 6-8 at West Newton Vine Park, Vine and Fifth streets.

Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 6; noon to 11 p.m. Sept. 7; and noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 8.

There will be a variety of food booths, games, pony rides, entertainment and crafts.

In addition, Wild World of Animals will perform at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6; a Fancy Nancy Parade and Tea will start at noon Sept. 7; and All Wheels Parade will get under way at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 7.

The West Newton Community Festival pageant will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 8.
