Woodcarvers Guild will hold show

The Oglebay Woodcarvers Guild of Wheeling, W.Va., will hold its 34th annual Carving Show and Sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Pine Room at Oglebay Park.

Wood carvings of all descriptions will be displayed. Jeff Roscoe of Flushing, Ohio, will be making chain-saw sculptures, and Al Pierson of Washington will be among the carvers who will be displaying their work. There also will be various carving tools, patterns and pattern books available.

Visitors will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a carving. The drawing will be held every hour, and the winner must be present to win.
