Dhayer – Andree
Donald Jr. and Christy Andree of Avella announce the engagement of their daughter, Amey Dawn, to Derek Henry Dhayer, son of Gwen Dhayer of Avella and the late Daniel Henry Dhayer.
The future bride’s grandparents are Donald Sr. and Irene Andree of Lancaster, S.C., and the late Kenneth and Margaret Kimble.
Derek’s grandparents are Mary-Ann Dhayer of Avella, the late Henry H. Dhayer and the late Joseph and Irma Halmi.
Amey is a 2008 graduate of Avella Junior/Senior High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn Commercial Business and Technical School, where she earned a degree in human resources.
Her fiance is a 2006 graduate of Avella Junior/Senior High School and a 2012 graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute, where he earned a degree in information technology. He is the IT manager at Allegheny Millwork.
The couple plan a March 29, 2014, wedding, on the eight-year anniversary of their relationship.
