Selvoski – Brova
Gabriela Brova and Charles Selvoski were united in marriage October 12, 2013, in Church of the Covenant, Washington, with Pastor Stu Broberg officiating the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Belinda Brova of Washington and the late Victor J. Brova. Her grandparents are Victor V. and Joyce Brova of Scenery Hill and the late Donald and Juliette Wiggins.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jeffrey Selvoski of Scenery Hill and Paula Durko Selvoski of Amity. His grandparents are Marie Prepski of Scenery Hill, the late Charles Selvoski, Carol Durko of Cokeburg and the late Joe Durko.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and a memorial candle was lit in memory of her father. Maids of honor were Natalie Brova of Washington, sister of the bride, and Kelly Fidazzo of Washington. Bridesmaids were Courtney Gorby of Eighty Four, Carly Sethman of Scenery Hill and Chelsea Eckles of Cokeburg. Flower girl was Alexas Skariot.
Best man was Samuel Lapsevic of Eighty Four. Ushers were Jeffrey Selvoski and Derrick Selvoski of Washington, brothers of the groom, Cory Liermann of Bentleyville, Adam McNary of Pittsburgh and Wyatt Selvoski of Scenery Hill and Jaxon Selvoski of Scenery Hill, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Owen Skariot.
Reader was Tracy Skariot and violinist was Anna Berthold.
A reception was held at Nemacolin Country Club.
The bride is a graduate of Bentworth High School, where the couple met freshman year. She attended California University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor of science degree in industrial psychology and organizational management. She works in human resources at ROC Service Co.
Her husband is a graduate of Bentworth High School and is a geomechanic driller for Test Boring Services.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, and make their home in Eighty Four.
