Bentworth School District will hold kindergarten registration Feb. 19-21. Children registering for kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013, and children registering for first grade must be 6 years ond on or before Sept. 1, 2013. Children currently attending kindergarten at Bentworth will not need to register for first grade.

For first-time registrants, parents must provide the following documents at the time of registration (copies are acceptable): birth certificate, immunization records and two documents to prove residency.

Call the elementary office to schedule an appointment for you and your child. Registration, testing and health information will take about 45 minutes and must be scheduled on or before Feb. 15. To schedule an appointment or for additional information, call 724-239-3606, Ext. 3265 or 3393.

Church of the Covenant Preschool, 267 E. Beau St., Washington, will accept registrations for September from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 5 at the preschool. Classes are offered for children ages 3 to 5. For more information, call 724-222-0190 ext. 21.
