1 min read

Young performers will vie for cash and other prizes Jan. 26 in “Washington’s Got Talent,” a fundraiser for The Washington Hospital’s Teen Outreach.

Nine auditions were held throughout Washington County in December and January. Fourteen finalists will perform at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Trinity High School. There will be four celebrity judges, including “American Idol” finalist Adam Brock. An audience vote will help determine “fan favorite.”

The first-place winner will receive $1,000. The second-place finisher and the fan favorite each will receive $500. The top two winners will perform at the Washington County Fair and the first-place winner will perform at the Washington Women’s Network event in April.

Entertainment also will be provided by local area dance schools.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Doors open at 5 p.m. Food will be available.
