Harrison – Thompson
Destiny Hill Farm pergola, surrounded by Lavender Fields in Washington, was the site for the wedding of Jessica Thompson and Jesse Harrison, who were married August 25, 2012. The Rev. Donald Wilson officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Herbert R. and Mary Thompson of Waynesburg. Her grandparents are John F. and Dorothy Roberts of Washington, Mary Jane Thompson of New Brighton and the late Herbert S. Thompson.
Parents of the bridegroom are Raymond E. and Rita Harrison Jr. of Lebanon, Va. His grandparents are Jeff Louis, Mildred Dye and Shirley Harrison, all of Lebanon, Va., and the late Raymond Harrison Sr.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Michelle Thompson of Carnegie served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Giachetti and Victoria Gregg, both of Waynesburg. Flower girls were Emalee Moore and Lydia Matney, cousins of the groom.
Best man was Clint Steele of Bristol, Tenn. Ushers were Evan Willis of Lebanon and Ty Pistelli of Ravenswood, W.Va.
Scripture reader was Lissa Dulick, and April Helbert read a poem, “I Carry Your Heart.”
Dan Baker was the musician.
A reception was held at the wedding site.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a customer service associate at PNC bank, Washington.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 2008 graduate of Radford University. He is the owner of Copper Ridge Energy LLC and an independent petroleum land agent.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Secrets Resort, Cancun, Mexico, and will make their home in Waynesburg.
